Kishtwar, April 04
Four militants of Hizbul Mujahideen, including its District commander, laid down their arms before army and police in Thatri area of district Doda, here today.
Sources informed that the militants laid down their arms before police and 26 Rashtriya Rifles in Thatri area, today.
Those who have surrender were identified as District Commander Ahiq Hussain, Abdul Karim, Muhammad Yasinand Altaf Hussain, all belonging to HM. They were said to be local militants active in the area from last one year.
The militants also handed over some arms and ammunition including one AK rifle, one insas rifle, one pistol and one radio set.
