| Panthers call meeting to discuss coalition relationship | | |
Jammu, Apr 4 The Panthers Party has called a meeting of delegates on April 9 to decide the next line of action vis-a-vis PDP as the latter’s demand of demilitarization is not acceptable to the Panthers. In a press release today, Party supremo Bhim Singh said that coalition government has failed to respect the common minimum programme and this has forced the Pathers to think again over it’s relationship with the partners. He also demanded an urgent meeting of coalition partners in Delhi in the presence of Sonia Gandhi to resolve the various issues which are threatening the coalition. Criticizing the PDP leadership, Prof Bhim Singh said that the entire CMP has been hijacked by them under the garb of demilitarization, which he said was never a part of the CMP. He alleged that Mufti had been the head of Unified command for three years but he never objected to the presence of militants then. Singh, further said that PDP has launched a tirade against the Indian army in order to promote the interests of separatists.
