| Search operation in Sallan village | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 30: Following rumors of spotting of two suspects at Sallan village in Hiranagar, security forces launched a joint search operation in the far flung village. "Just after two days of militant attack in Dalaychack at Kathua district, security forces launched a joint search operation in far flung village Salan at Teshil Hiranagar after some villagers spotted movement of suspected militants in the area", sad an official spokesman. Security Forces and Police after receiving information immediately swung into action and launched a search operation in Sallan Village. Sources said that the police was joined by the Army and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the operation. Inspector Anuroop Jyot, SHO Hiranagar said that operation was launched at around 5 am and at around 5:30 pm the operation was called off. Superintended of Police (SP) Mohan Lal supervised the operation and he himself reached the spot. However, nothing suspicious was found and the operation was called off late in the evening, he added. |
