| Mangat inaugurates Ayruvedic centre | | |

Minister for Health and Medical Education Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma has said that Ayurveda is the most ancient medical treatment system with extensive documentation and an impressive record of safety and efficacy and stressed for adoption of this system of medicine.
This was stated by the Minister while inaugurating newly established Multi-speciality Devgon Ayurvadic Treatment and Research centre near hear today.
He said Ayurveda is not only a system of medicine but also represents a way of healthy living and is holistic in approach. He said true medicine according to Ayurveda is one, which cures the diseases without causing any side effect. It is in this aspect that Ayurveda enjoys an advantage over the modern system of medicine, he added.
Appreciating the management Mr. Sharma hoped that this centre will provide best possible treatment to the people and help mitigate suffering of the ailing masses.
Dr. Vipin Sharma Director of the Centre highlighting the activities said that holistic treatment centre has been set up to provide complete package of classical Ayurvedic treatment, which includes Panchkarma and Kshar Sutra treatment. Panchkarma treatment, which leads to eradication of disease causing factors instead of palliative treatment and helps in rejuvenating body system and boost immunity, he said and added that a team of experienced and highly qualified Ayruvedic doctors will provide professional expertise in the centre.
The function was attended among others by Vice Chairman Pahari Board, corporators, doctors and prominent citizens.
