| Niaz addresses rally | | | Jammu, 5th, Apr MLC & Former Minister for Power, Shri Mohammad Sharief Niaz while addressing a mammoth public gathering at Ramsoo in connection with celebration of newly created District at Ramban said that the full fledged District status to Ramban was given by the present Coalition government under the dynamic leadership Jenab Ghulam Nabi Azad, besides, other seven districts in the other parts of the state. In his address he assured the workers that their demand for providing employment avenues to the local youths especially in Railway project will be taken with the Union Railway Minstry on priority and the project sanctioned during my tenure as Power Minister for Construction of Grid Station at Ramban which is estimated to Rs.150.00 Crores be also taken up with the concerned quarters. Mr. Niaz also hails the decision taken for introducing and implementation of Roshi Act in the State which would definitely benefit the poor and down trodden people of the state. Mr. Niaz appealed the people to strengthened the hands of Jenab Ghulam Nabi Azad as well Congress party for the eradication of corruption and development of the state. The Local party worker who spoke on the occasion demanded Tehsil status for Ramsoo having nine Patwar halqa and 43 polling stations. They highlighted the shortage of fertilizer and agriculture seed in the area. They demanded upgradation of PHC, Ukhral, up-gradation of Middle School, Sarachi to High School, recruitment of local youths in Railway project and installation of a BSNL tower in the area. They demanded timely supply of books for the children in the schools. They also demanded that the rate of labour be increased from Rs.70/- to 120/- keeping in view of the prevalent market rates. All the speakers praise showers in favour of Jenab Ghulam Nabi Azad Hon'ble Chief Minister, Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Hon'ble Chairperson of the UPA Government at the Centre for showing their keen interest for the upliftment of the people of the state. Among other who spoke on the occasion were S/Shri Farooq Ahmad Katoch, Mohd Akram, Abdul Rashid Ronyal, Ch. Ghulam Mohd, Sham singh, Bashir Ahmed Naik, Abdul Rashid Sahil, Bharbushan, Tariq Saleem, Abdul Rashid Kohstani, Prabhat Singh, Sat Paul Parihar and Preetam Kotwal. Mr. Niaz assured the leaders that their demands will be brought into the notice of Hon'ble Chief Minister and all their genuine demands would be fulfilled in the phase manner.
