| PDP organizes meeting at Chaani Rama | | |
JAMMU, April 5
A meeting was held at Chanar Colony Chaani Rama under the Chairmanship of Surjeet Kour, State Executive Member, PDP, in which the locals of the area participated and discussed various problems confronting the inhabitants. The meeting expressed grave concern over the bad condition of road and urged the government to take up the maintenance work on it on war footings..
Addressing the meeting, Kour said that PDP has the vision of bringing peace back to the State and added that the party has always championed the cause of the poor and down trodden. She said that it is the healing touch policy of PDP that has created situation conducive for peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue. She stressed that self-rule would address to the aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir and appreciated the policies of the Party emphasizing on equal development of the three regions.
Those who were present in the meeting included Shazad-ur-Rehban, Dr. Qazi, Ghulam Rasool, Mohammed Shafi Wani, Abdul Sultan Wani, Abdul Rehman, Mohammed Ashraf, Wali Mohammed, Mohammed Shafi and Mohammed Isfaq .
