| Labrour dies at stone quarry, four others injured in accidents | | | Srinagar Apr 5 one person died after a came under a bolder while working at a stone quarry; four persons including a CRPF trooper were injured in separate traffic related accidents across the Kashmir valley. Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that a young Labrour, identified as Abdul Rashid Shah 30son of Abdul Gani Shah of Bahoo Awantipora was injured seriously while working at a stone quarry near his house when he was hit by a shooting stone. He was immediately rushed to hospital where he succumbed to injuries. Police has taken cognizance and initiated inquest proceedings. Meanwhile, a Tata Sumo bearing Registration number JK13/4319 hit and injured a girl Ishrat daughter of Habibullah Najar resident of Beerwah Budgam, at Lawaypora National Highway. The injured has been hospitalized at JVC Bemina. However, the Driver of the Vehicle fled from the spot. A motorcyclist namely Muzamil Ahmad Sofi resident of Sazgaripora Hawal hit and injured one Abdul Rehman Dar son of Mohammed Sultan of Barzulla. After the accident, motorcyclist immediately fled away from the spot, however, the injured was shifted to Bones and Joint Hospital for treatment. One Maruti Van bearing registration number JK04/7779, driven by Fayaz Ahmad, resident of Bemina hit and injured one CRPF constable Vijay Kumar Chowhan No. 055251778 of 122 Bn. CRPF in front of police station Shergari. The injured constable has been hospitalized and Police has registered a Case in this regard. A Tipper bearing Regt No: Jk03A/0551 driven by Manzoor Ahmed Rather son of Ghulam Hassan of Sadoora hit and injured one motorcyclist Rouf Ahmed Hakeem son of Abdul Gani of chambgund near FCI Mir Bazaar. While the injured has been hospitalized, Police has registered a case in hits regard.
