| Defeated parties trying to weaken Coalition: Dilawar | | | Jammu, Apr 5 Peoples Democratic Party senior leader and the Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Horticulture and Tourism, Mr. Mohammad Dilawar Mir has called upon the party workers and party activists of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to reach out to the people at their doorsteps & strengthen contacts with them for seeking redressal of their grievances. Speaking at a convention of District Presidents of the Jammu Province at Party Headquarters here today, the Minister urged upon the workers to acquaint the people about the people friendly policies and programmes of the Party. He appraised the party workers about intentions of the defeated political forces which see a political challenge in PDP and want to weaken the coalition Government. Reiterating that the political calculations of such forces have always been misplaced, he advised the party cadres to organize massive public rallies in cities, towns and far flung areas of the State to make the people aware about the policies and political agenda of the party. Mr. Mansoor Ahmed, Political Secretary to President PDP, General Secretary, Mr. Dhaman Bhasin, Legislators Mrs. Shanti Devi, Ved Prakash Mahajan, Ch. Nizam-ud-din Khatana and other party functionaries were also present on the occasion.
