An amount of Rs 5.59 lakh was distributed among 56 artisans of the area under AHUY scheme as financial assistance here today.
The additional district Commissioner, Muberak Singh, who was the chief guest on the occasion distributed the cheques.
This amount was sanctioned under AHUY scheme of central government, Asstt. Director, handicrafts, Poonch was also present on the occasion.
