| Peer Hussain reviews power scenario in Rajouri | | |

For improvement of power scenario in the Rajouri district Rs. 4.06 crore are being spent on various schemes launched in the district under Accelerated Power Development Reforms Programme (APDRP).
This was stated by Minister of State for Power and Health Peer Mohammad Hussain who is on 3-days extensive tour to the district alongwith Minister of State for R&B Mr. Mohammad Khalil Band.
Ministers visited various under construction receiving stations in the district and took stock of work. The stations inspected by Ministers included Phall Sunderbani, Qilla Darhal Nowshera, Rajal Nowshera-2, Solki Kala Kote, Sailsoo, Palma Rajouri, Drali, Kewal and Kotranka. On these projects Rs. 2.56 crore are being spent while Rs. 1.50 crore being spent on creation of new sub stations in Rajouri district during current financial year.
Addressing the officers meeting the Ministers asked them to speed up working and complete on going schemes as early as possible so that benefits reach to the people. They also stressed for initiating measures for creating new sub stations on priority basis.
Later, the Ministers visited Shahdera Sharief and paid obeisance there.
