| SRTC employees to go on two days strike, Buses to remain off the road | | |

The Joint Action Committee of the State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) has decided to go on two days strike from April 11 in support of their pending demands.
According to a handout issued by the Association, the joint action committee has ordered closure of offices for April 11 and 12 and said that all the vehicles of the Corporation will remain off the road on these two days.
The employees have also decided to come out on roads along with their family members through out the State and maintained that despite negotiations with the management no fruitful results have come out, forcing the employees to take this extreme step.
The Joint Action Committee felt that neither the Government nor the STRC management is serious to resolve the problems of the employees and once again impressed upon the management to concede the demands of the employees as otherwise the peaceful struggle would be further intensified, till demands are met.
