Non-teaching employees observe strike

BHADARWAH, Apr 07
Non-Teaching Employees of Bhadarwah College, on the call given by all J&K Colleges Non-Teaching Employees Association, observed “Kam Chod Hartal”, which entered the third day today, affecting normal work in the college.
The employees, under the chairmanship of its working President Jai Prakash, observed a protest demonstration against non-implementation of the written agreement reached between the Association and the higher authorities.
Striking employees assembled in Government Degree College premises and took out rally in support their demands and raised slogans against the biased attitude adopted by the Higher Education authorities.
Addressing the protesters, the working president condemned the anti-employee attitude of the authorities and said that their demands are grant of UGC grades, conveying of DPC and regularization of all daily wagers..
