| Border Police Jammu continues checking operations | | | Jammu, Aug 4.:
Border Police Jammu, in order to check the illicit liquor and other irregularities carried out excise raids etc. on ¾ Aug. under the guidance of SSP Border, Rajinder Gupta, IPS and seized/ arrested different contrabands /offenders under the jurisdiction of various Police Stations
During checking U / J of P/S Miran Sahib two Motor Cycles were seized U /S 207
of Motor Vehicles Act i.e. driving without documents / number plate. During another checking one Sanjiv singh S/O Bhuri Singh R /O Mandi Sangwali was arrested U/S 36 Police Act i.e. creating nuisance in public. Checking was carried out U / J of Police Station Samba.Under the jurisdiction of P / S Ramgarh , during night checking / patrolling two persons namely Ghar Singh S / O Bishan Singh and Deep Singh S / O Prem Singh R / O Dadyal were arrested under section 36 Police Act. i.e. creation of nuisance in public place.
