| Chenab College celebrates World Health Day | | |

Chenab College of Education today celebrated World Health Day.
MLC, Congress R S Chib was the Chief guest on this occasion.
Speaking on this occasion, Principal Shivi Mehra in her welcome address said that World Health Day gives opportunity to celebrate the remarkable contribution to human health and development made by health workers.
She further added that student community must adopt the role of health workers and serve the mankind.
R.S. Chib, Chairman of College, while addressing the participants stressed that all over the world national health System are finding it difficult to train, sustain and retain their health workers. He said that there is a need to train our own health workers so that the health force is increased to look after the needed persons.
Sumeet Sawhney, programme officer, NSS unit of the college stressed on the women’s health. Santosh Sharma, in-charge of Adult and Continuing Education unit highlighted the theme of the World Health Day-international health security. The students who participated in the function included Sanjay Singh, Himmant Singh, Rattan Singh and Deepika.
