Jammu, Aug. 4: During his interactive address to people of Dhara Sawla, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Mohd. Shafi Tariq, apprised them of the fact that govt. had selected their village as MODERN VILLAGE, and also promised to take up their other problems with the govt. Senior PDP leader M.S. Tariq , while addressing a public meeting at Dhara Sawla- Block Manjakote, in Rajouri District, was apprised by the people there, of Shortage of food grains, due to crop failure, unemployment of educated youth and acute shortage of electricity and water, and demanded free ration and employment of their youth , this was stated in a press release, here, adding that the people explained the reason behind the shortage of essentials of life was proximity to border, militancy and and failure rains. Tariq, in his address, told them that the govt. had selected their village as a MODERN VILLAGE and shortly all the necessary facilities will be provided to them, the release added, stating further that the leader assured them that he would take all their demands with the government at highest level with the full support of his party. The meeting was attended by Nirman Singh, Zonal President, Ashok Sharma, Leader PDP and Ram Avtar Singh, Ex Sarpanch. |
