| One killed, 7 injured in road accidents | | |

A person was killed after being hit by a tractor at Mishriwalla and seven others suffered injuries in separate road accidents during the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, all the injured have been hospitalized in GMC for treatment.
According to reports, an unidentified person of nearly 27 years of age was hit by tractor bearing registration number JK02X-1839 at Mishriwalla. He was immediately shifted to GMC Jammu where he succumbed to his injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter. Meanwhile, those who suffered injuries in separate road accidents were Aditya, son of Sher Singh of Himachal, Nisar Mohammed, son of Mohd Iqbal of Sidhra, Vijay Kumar, son of Tilak Raj of Bagha Chana, S P Sinha, son of O P Sinha of J P Co Chanderkote, Harpreet Singh, son of Balvinder Singh of Bari Brahmna, Ashu Kumar, son of Hans Raj of Anandpur and Vishal Kumar, son of Rawail Singh of Dool Kishtwar. All the injured have been hospitalized in GMC for treatment.
