| Integrated health care project inaugurated | | | April 7,2007
Coinciding with the WHO (World Health Day ) Dah Division of army has taken up the project under operation Sadbavna to provide comprehensive integrated health care and development services to the innocent and poor people residing near Loc in border district of Rajouri . In fact they were felling as if they were living under the shade of bullets and mortar shells when the forces of two countries were feeling sour relation toward each other.. These innocent people of border district living near the Loc lived for decades under the shade of mortar selling and cross firing between the troops of two countries India and Pakistan before cease fire . Since peace is prevailing on the Loc and people living near the Lo c heaved the sigh of relief when the relationship between the two countries are developing from worst to better . Taking into consideration the developing relationship between the two countries these people needs to be cared on developmental side in different sectors
The Dah Division has taken up the project of one and half crore with the aim to provide comprehensive integrated health care and development services to the resident of villages near Loc along LCF in conjunction with various government agencies told army sources
The project was inaugurated by the commander R Singh of DAH Division of army here today at Barsali near the Vir Vadashsver in district Rajouri here today ..This project will be carried out in two phases and in phase after caring the survey of community to identify health problems of each individual and families in the area . Followed by coordition and arranging health care and other development services in conjunction with state government agencies .In some cases patients requiring special care will be referred to district hospital Rajouri for special treatment .Need based projects will be taken up in close association with Civil administration . |
