| J&K NLTP for financial package to unemployed youth | | | Jammu, April 11 Demanding a financial package for un-employed youth of the state, Suhail Ahmed Mir, State President of National Loktantrik Party, today said, despite flow of huge funds from the center, government has done nothing for the welfare of the youth of the state.
Addressing a press conference at Airlines Restaurant Jammu, Suhail stressed upon the government to develop infra-structure for tourism in the State of Jammu and Kashmir so that the jobless educated youth could get employment. He added, boatmen, Hotel owners and craftsmen should also be given incentives for restoration of their business establishments.
Referring to un-employment, he said that thousands of educated youth have crossed their upper age limits and have no source for their survival. “What you can expect from such a government which can not even employee a class fourth” he said adding that the youth of the state particularly those belonging to far-flung areas are forced to adopt wrong illegal methods for earning.
Coalition government failed to redress the problems of un-employed youth of the State The party requests govt. to construct tourist’s resorts in every district which will reduce unemployment and the state will be developed.
He said that the roads of the state were in bad condition leading to road traffic accidents every day, adding that the state government failed to keep its promises in mitigating the problems of the people of the Jammu and Kashmir.
