| Gau Raksha Dal organizes sammelan to stop bovine smuggling | | | Early Times Report Kathua, Apr 26: In order to mount pressure on the bovine smugglers with an aim to stop the bovine smuggling in Jammu and Kashmir, one day samelan was organized by the "Gau Raksha Dal" district Kathua in Ram Leela Ground at Nagari here today. Various speakers on the occasion delivered their serious concerns over the growing bovine smuggling and killing of cows for meat purpose in Jammu and Kashmir. Convener of the Gau Raksha Dal Gyan Parkash Maharaj Ji said that bovine smuggling is a heinous crime but the killing of cow is a most ashamed and cowardice act as well as an open challenge to the Hindu community and trying to create the communal tension. He said that killing of any animal specifically cow should be strictly banned and opposed widely by the every citizen of the state and country. In their address, the district president of "Gau Raksha Dal" Davinder Sharma and chief guest on the occasion Mohammad Shafi Khan expressed serious shock over the killing of cows and other innocent animals in the state. |
