| World Malaria Day observed | | | | Kathua, Apr 26: Doctors and other medical staff spread awareness among the general people regarding protection of health from the bad influence of Malaria on the eve of "World Malaria Day" by organizing an awareness programme in the premises of Govt. District Hospital at Kathua here today. On the occasion, Superintendent District Hospital Kathua, Dr. J.P Singh accompanied by CHO Kartar Verma was chief guest who inaugurated the programme for further proceeding. While speaking on the occasion, Dr. J.P Singh laid his stress on the use of precautions to turn down any attack of Malaria. The most targeted areas are those which are water logged and it should be removed where as it is seen in the localities because these are the beds for the growth of dreadful mosquitoes which leads the Malaria. Proper dress up to cover entire body, not allow the water accumulation in surroundings of locality and get in touch with nearest hospital on the feeling of minor fever so that malaria could be given the space to flourish. |
