The Annual Day celebration function of Pre-Eminent Institute of Education, Sadyal (Khrah-Mandana) was held here today in which Sardar Manjit Singh, minister of state for education was chief guest.
The programme commenced with the welcome song by the students of School. The programme was prepared by Dogri writer and singer Bishan Singh Dardi and the songs written and composed was presented and music was arranged by Des Raj and Surjit Kumar.
The best items of the programme were the songs of Dardi “Us Bharat De Bharat Sada” and “Shaharen Pinden te Graen” about 20 numbers of items were performed by the students of the school along with female teachers of the school Pooja, Manu, Kamlesh, Jyoti, and Rajni were the main singers.
Rajni and Dardi also sung few Dogri songs on the occasion. Two skits were also presented by the students of the school namely Vishab, Vashim, Nadeem, Maqsood, Deepak, Sanket, Shannu and Adarsh.
The female artists, who presented action songs were Nensi, Archana, Monika, Shabnam, Naseema, Anu, Sheetal, Sushma, Diksha, Rimpi, Yashmeen, Rajni, Koushika, Sumaniya, Neha, Raveena, Niharika.
The chief guest in his address said that a beautiful collection of different items were performed by the children. He assured the local people about their problems and praised the well-organized programme by the students of the school Bashir Ahmad, sarpanch of Panchayat Khrah Madana, highlighted the problems of the area faced by the people of the locality.
Rajinder Sharma, principal of the school thanked the parents, and the audience and staff members who attended the programme.
