| Jugal Kishore congratulates people of Ramban | | | Jammu, April 11
Minister for Rural Development and Panchayatiraj Mr. Jugal Kishore during his visit to Ramban has congratulated the people of Ramban for getting district status to Ramban. He said with this, long cherished demand of the people has been fulfilled. He was addressing a series of public meetings at Banihal, Chamwas, Ukhwal and Magarkote.
He said the Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad is striving to fulfill all the promises made during the last Assembly elections adding that this was also the guideline of Common Minimum Programme.
Mr. Jugal said under the dynamic leadership of the Mr. Azad a new era of development has been set in motion across the state especially the newly created districts, sub divisions and tehsils will get boost on the development front. He said poor class of this hilly district will be immensely benefited, which is the policy of the government and with this, socio-economic condition of the poor people of this newly carved out district will get benefited.
Later, the Minister held a meeting of district officers in the conference hall of NHPC Baghliar and enjoined upon the officers to ensure the speedy disposal of cases of the people without any delay.
