| NCP urges PM to hold dialogue with Jammu leadership | | | Jammu April 12
Nationalist Congress Party has impressed upon the Central Government to initiate dialogue with Jammu leadership for peaceful solution of the problems of Jammu region.
Dr Bhai Randeep Singh Parihar, General Secretary, NCP at a press conference at RS Pura, today said that it is right time for the peaceful resolution of Jammu problem and the Government of India must invite Jammu leadership for a dialogue. He suggested holding of a round table conference by the PM for taking on the spot decisions on the burning problems of Jammu region.
The NCP leader also demanded renaming the Sher-i- Kashmir Agriculture University Jammu as Baba Jittoo University and Radio Kashmir Jammu as Radio Station Jammu and operating a channel on the pattern of Kashmir Channel in the name of Raja Jambu Lochan , the founder of Jammu.
