| Chemistry behind miracles unfolded in science programme | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 30: The ongoing four day science programme entitled, Fostering Scientific Temperament and Explaining Natural Phenomenon so called Miracles through inquiry based method which is going on at Govt. Woman College Parade Jammu and is being organized by National Council for Urban and Rural Development Society in Colloboration with Vigyan Orasar Noida, Department of Science and Technology was today dominated with some magic experiments involving Chemistry which were performed and explained by Dr. Ashiq Hussain, Resource person and Programme coordinator.
Just like miracles as a mystery, he made water to change red and back to water, In a bottle the colour of the solution was made to change a number of times in different colours by simply shaking the bottle, besides some of the tricks done by so called babas, were explained and performed by Dr. Ashiq Hussain to unfold the truth and science behind these miracles. During the whole day programme B.K. Tyagi Head Vigyan Prasar in a coherent way helped each and every performer in explaining the mystery behind these tricks or miracles. Later on he delivered a comprehensive lecture on miracles based slight of hands and scientific investigations to unfold various myths and superstitions prevailing in the society. Later Kamaldeep Kour one of the resource persons delivered a detailed lecture on enquiry based learning. |
