One held with stolen vehicle

Jammu Apr 30: Police today arrested one person alogwith a stolen vehicle (a tempo traveler), police sources said.
The accused has been identified namely as one Mohammad Farooq s/o Abdul Rashid R/O Dhalori of Rajouri district.
Quoting complainant Bhajan Singh S/O Ajit Singh R/O Nanak Nagar, Jammu, police said, "During the intervening night of 25/26 April he lodged a complaint at P/S Bus Stand that he parked his Tempo bearing registration No JK02AL-0221 in front of Trikuta Complex, Bus Stand Jammu and went to Booking Office inside the Trikuta Complex."
"To his surprise when he came back and found that his Tempo was missing from there, the complainant stated, police said further adding, "case against FIR No 23/2014 U/S 379 RPC was registered at P/S Bus Stand and investigation started."
Police said, "During investigation of the case many suspects were picked up by police and it was found that Mohammad Farooq of Dhalori-Rajouri has stolen the vehicle and was arrested."
