JAMMU, Apr 30: Expressing grave concern over the dilapidated condition of historic Sui Baba temple, Jaswan in Tehsil Akhnoor, the Sangram Sena today demanded proper maintenance of the ancient shrine.In a statement, Sangram Sena said that a team of the executive members and activities of Sena Jammu headed by their president R R Raina visited the ancient Sui Baba temple, Talab Jaswan, Tehsil Akhnoor and found that the present condition of the temple is in dilapidated condition and looks as ruins.Raina said that the present condition of the ancient temple Sui is in shambles although the temple is under control of Dharmarth Trust Jammu. He appealed Dr. Karan Singh and Ajatshatru Singh to intervene and ensure proper management of the historical temples like Sui Temple. Raina also urged upon the Minister for Tourism to undertake development of such ancient temples which reveals the history of J&K State. |
