Batote, Apr 30: Army Battalion, based at Batote, dedicated a state of arts Computer Lab at Govt Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Batote to the students. The lab has twelve Computers fitted with UPS, a Projector and modern furniture provided under Op Sadbhavana. Deputy General Officer Commanding (Dy GoC), Delta Force inaugurated the Computer Lab in presence of Vijay Kumar Soni, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Ramban, Saifullah Shah, Naib Tehsildar Batote, teachers, students and Officers from the Army. In his inaugural address, Dy GoC, Delta Force exhorted the students to get maximum benefit from the computer lab and strive to become responsible citizens so as to contribute in the development of nation. He said that Computer Lab will provide computer based education to the children in Batote so that they can keep a pace with their counterparts in other cities in this computer era. Vijay Kumar Soni expressed gratitude towards Indian Army for this student friendly initiative and said that Army has always been helpful and alive to the aspirations of children. The occasion was followed by distribution of sweets to the students. |
