| Niaz alleges supply of rotten flour in Bhalessa | | Seeks registration of FIR against CAPD officials | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 30: Deputy Leader Congress Legislature Party (CLP) and MLA Bhaderwah Mohd Sharief Niaz today directed the Gandoh Police to register an FIR against CAPD officials and flour mill who have supplied rotten flour in Bhalessa area. He directed the police to seize all the consignment of said atta and black listed that flour mill owner. He further said that several times the matter was brought into the notice of CAPD authorities but till date the matter was not taken of cognizance. He said that that today large number of people approached and apprised about the rotten atta being supplied to them. Taking serious note of the matter, he immediately directed the police to look into the matter and book the culprits. Similar complaints were also received from the residents of Bhaderwah and Chiralla areas. Niaz told that due to continuously untimely rains and heavy snowfall in Bahellsa, Bhaderwah, Chirala, Bisnota and Inderwal the people of facing starvation on account of acute shortage of ration.He also expressed concern over damage of crops of wheat, mustard, vegetables and fruit trees in these areas. He said that no payment was made to labourers since 2012 under MNGREGA scheme, development work of various department and road works are standstill. He added that 35 transformer of PDD department have been damaged in only Bahellsa block only since 2 to 8 months and department has not replaced the damaged one. |
