SSP Doda holds 'police-public' meeting in Bhaderwah

Bhaderwah, Apr 30: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda Mohd Sharief Chowhan held a police-public meeting with the residents of Bhaderwah town seeking local support to be the part eradicating social evils from the society and to maintain law and order situation.
In an impressive meeting held at Dak bunglow ,Bhaderwah, SSP M S Chowhan said, "the police intends to hold in all Sub-Divisions in Doda district for better social set up.'
About 200 people of Mohalla Committees, senior citizens, respectable, representatives of trade,Political leaders and transport besides people of other walks of life attended this meeting and appreciated the Doda Police for conducting incident free elections "During the meeting issues like drug menace, disobedience, eve-teasing, rash driving, illegal parking in Bhaderwah town and other crimes are on rise, spokesperson said and added locals impressed upon the SSP to continue fight against drug addiction and other social evils/crimes. They also demanded Police Public Library, Police Public school and a gym in Bhaderwah under Civic Action Programme (CAP)." The SSP expressed his thanks to the public for attending the meeting and appreciate them for their active participation in recently held Lok Saba elections. Other officials present at the police-public meet include ASP Bhaderwah Sanjay Sharma, SDPO Afroz Ahmed and SHO Bhaderwah Bandawasher Manhas.
Prominent those present in this meeting included Ajit Singh Kotwal, Abdul Hefeez Katheeb, Hafeez Wani, Manjeet Razdan, Koshal Kotwal, Ch Shabir Ahmed, Raj Singh Kotwal, Sanjay Bhagat, Mohd Iqbal Tak and others.
