Jammu, Apr 30: All Parties Migrants Co-ordination Committee (APMCC) today has announced the call for the "Lal Chowk Kashmir Challo in support to 6 Points Charter of Demands of the Committee to which the government has failed to acceded to, on demanding the same from time to time.
In a press conference held at Press Club Jammu Vinod Pandit, the chairman of APMCC announced this and said that the Government has cheated us twice on this regard. "Firstly, when I went on fast unto death hunger strike in the year 2011 at Jammu and this was suspended after assurances were made by the then Minister of State for Health R S Chib, he said, adding, "Secondly fast unto death at Porbandar,Gujarat where the J&K Government appealed Gujarat Govt saying that we will concede the all the 6 points charter of demands put forth by him and our demands were conceded to till date by the State Government.
Giving details of peaceful protest march in Kashmir, Advocate Arun Kandroo,, General Secretary APMCC said, "We have decided to have a peaceful rally from Press Colony to Lal Chowk Srinagar on June 4 for passage of our 6 point charter of Demands for which we have been struggling a lot since a decade. He made a fervent appeal to all the community brethren- organizations to support rally for the cause of community.
Earlier the speakers highlighted demands including Passing of the pending Kashmir Temples and Shrines Bill in J&K Legislative Assembly, Probe into the Multi-crore temples/Shrines land encroachment in Kashmir, Dialogue with Pakistan for facilitating visit to Mata Shardha Peet Temple in POK (Pakistan),
Establishment of Mata Sharda Peet University in J&K, One time compensation for over-aged Migrant Kashmiri Hindu Youth and Special employment package for non-migrant Hindus of Kashmir valley.
