| Strike by non- teaching staff is blackmailing: ABVP | | | Early Times reporter Jammu | April 12 Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, national executive member, Suresh Magotra while addressing the media person said that the strike called by the non-teaching staff of the colleges amounts to nothing less than blackmailing. He said that non-teaching staff is playing with the careers of the student community and they should refrain from doing the same. He further said that ABVP welcomes the initiative of the Vice chancellor Prof. Amitabh Mattoo to utilize the grants provided to the university in the form of Gneral Zorawar Singh Auditorium a pride for the University and the state. ABVP unit university Jammu demanded that the utilization of this auditorium facility should be used for the student’s community preferably. ABVP also demanded that the university should also commence the (honour courses) of various subjects. The law students undergoing the five years degree course must be considered eligible for the job. These students must be given facility of appearing in supplementary examinations after six months of their course. The others who presented on this occasion included Mukesh Kumar President JU unit, Yuvraj Singh Law School president ABVP, Kishore Kumar Organizing Secretary ABVP JU and Govind, secretary ABVP law School.
