| BJP leaders from valley call on BJP chief | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Apr 12 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists from Kashmir valley today called on state president of party, Ashok Khajuria at party headquarters here today. Sofi Yousuf, provincial president of the party, who led the party activists from various parts of the valley apprised the president about the progress made by BJP during the last three months. She said, people of the valley were fed up with Congress, National Conference and PDP. These parties have always played with sentiments of the people, Sofi said and added people of the valley want change and as such are joining the party. He said, in next elections BJP will be in a position to obtain 10 seats and day is not for off, when BJP will form its own government in the state. She also asked the BJP leaders to visit Kashmir valley to observe the situation personally as early as possible. While speaking on the occasion, BJP leaders lauded the working of BJP workers under the dynamic leadership of Sofi in Kashmir. The state general secretary, Ajay Jamwal also addressed the activists and apprised them about the organizational set up of the party in the state. The other party leaders from valley who were present included vice-president Mohd. Ashraf Azad, Gen. Secretary, Mohd. Maqbool war, party spokesperson, Shiekh Abdul Rashid, Mahila Morcha president, Miss Haleema and Secretary Mushtaq Noorabdi and others.
