| Landmine explosion injures 2 near LoC | | | Srinagar April 12 Two civilians were injured, one of them critically, in a land mine explosion near Line of Control in Budgam district of Central Kashmir, this morning.
The blast took place near Gulab Kilshey forward post Tulia in Budgam area, official sources told News Agency of Kashmir.
Two civilians, who were working near the post, were injured in the blast and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, they added.
The injured have been identified as Bashir Ahmad Malik (16) son of Gulab and Junaid Ahmad son of Arshad Malik both residents of Thathri Kilshey Tulail.
Security forces suspect that the land mine may have been planted by the militants in the area. However, local alleged that the mine was planted by the security forces to avoid intrusion without informing the local residents who usually work in their fields in the area.
