| AVM, IAR discuss problems of unreserved categories | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 8: A joint meeting of Aarakshan Virodi Manch (AVM) and India Against Reservation (IAR) was held today at Mahajan Sabha, Jammu under the chairmanship of Vinod Kumar Gupta president Mahajan Sabha in which various problems being faced by unreserved categories were discussed in detail.
Addressing the meeting Vinod Kumar Gupta, Chander Mohan Gupta (General Sec. Mahajan Sabha), Som Nath Sharma, Kewal Sharma, Deepak Khajuria and Chander Parkash Sharma strongly condemned the caste based reservation and demanded its total abolition as it create separation between castes. It was decided with one voice to hold a seminar on caste based reservation near feature.
Ram Pal Seth and Sat Pal Sharma approache the Mahajan Sabha to support us in this noble cause for fighting against caste based reservation. Vinod Kumar Gupta president Mahajan Sabha and Sh. Chander Mohan Gupta Gen. Sec. Mahajan Sabha said that we are against caste based reservation and we support for this cause. The Mahajan Sabha also said in the meeting that Sabha support the seminar which is organize on caste based reservation in future.
The members present in the meeting said the tag of caste could not be abolished, if caste based reservation is not abolished from the country the poor among reserve categories could not now avail its benefits because the elites among them will not allowed that their share or benefits are now being avail by the rich among the reserve categories which is a grave in justice. |
