Jammu, May 8: The staff, students and parents of Alexander Memorial School (AMS) celebrated Mother's Day today by conducting a Special Assembly and a Mother's Workshop in the school campus.
All teachers were seen wishing the Mothers a very happy and jubilant Mothers Day. The Principal, spoke on this occasion on the responsibility of women as mothers and their role in the modern society. Mothers of students of junior classes were made to play games, sing songs recite rhymes etc. 4 short videos related to care of pet animals, traffic rules specially about use of seat belt, harmful use of mobiles and on child abuse were shown and discussed in detail. There was healthy discussion over a cup of tea and refreshments. Prizes were given to mothers who won the games. |
