Jammu, May 8: A high level deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF), comprising of more than 400 members from Jammu, Samba, Kathua and Udhampur districts, under the leadership of General Secretary of the Forum, Ganesh Khanuria, called on the Director School Education- Jammu (DSE-J), Tushar Kanti Sharma and presented a memorandum highlighting the major problems being faced by the teaching community. A threadbare discussion was held with the Director School Education, Jammu. While speaking regarding the problems, Ganesn Khanuria stressed upon the Worthy Director to mitigate all the genuine and just demands of the teaching fraternity at the earliest otherwise the Forum shall be compelled to launch the agitation to get the justice in favour of the teaching fraternity. The major demands discussed included suitable adjustment of all the masters repatriated to Jammu and Kathua districts from the other districts immediately after lifting of the model code of conduct, transfer and adjust all the female masters of Jammu district who were recently repatriated from other districts after serving there for the mature period and cancellation of all the orders of female masters posted in other Districts from Jammu District, release of annual increment in favour of all teaching categories and timely release of SSA, NPA and all other salary grants on quarterly basis besides several other demands were also highlighted. |
