Jammu, May 10: The spark of "one man,one post" inside jammu university has reached District Poonch where activists of NSUI today gathered in number outside Government Polytechnic, Poonch and shouted slogans against the messy state of affairs at Jammu University.
The protest was led by Sajad Ahmed Khaki, District President, NSUI unit Poonch. Interacting with the media men, Khaki said, "What could be termed as anarchy is something which one could witness in Jammu University where against number of posts, the availability of staff is limited and to fulfill the same, the University authorities have adopted a policy of adjusting one person as in charge of several posts which is weakening the roots of education system in the state".
He said, though, there is no dearth of competent and educated youth who are awaiting jobs in the state but these youths are victimized deliberately to absorb relatives and incompetent faculty members to hide weaknesses of the University authorities.
Further, he said NSUI District Poonch Committee always stands for issues being highlighted by the NSUI wing of JU and will agitate with the JU wing till JK Sharma is not removed from his current position who is mastermind of all these nefarious designs.
