Training for counting staff held in Kathua 5/10/2014 11:03:54 PM Early Times Report KATHUA, May 10 : One day training for counting staff was held at conference hall of DC Office Complex today. Returning Officer, 5-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency Jitendra K Singh was present on the occasion. About 192 Counting Supervisors and 192 Counting Assistants have been appointed for counting. During the training Returning Officer, Jitendra Kumar Singh briefed the counting staff about the guidelines of Election Commission. They are directed to enter the venue by 6.30 am. RO informed that mobile phones will not be allowed inside the venue on the counting day. The counting will start at 8 AM. The entry passes will be issued to the counting staff on 15th May. The counting supervisors/counting assistants were demonstrated in detail about the handling of EVMs. ADC Kathua Prasanna Ramaswamy G, ADDC Kathua Narinder Singh Bali, CEO, LSDA Dr. Bharat Bhushan were also present on the occasion.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
