| SMVDU gets 100 p c placements again | | |

Touching yet another milestone, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University has again got placements for all its 38 passouts of MBA batch 2005-07 in reputed multi-national companies. The first batch of the university had achieved a unique distinction of getting hundred per cent placements.
According to a spokesperson of the University, the MBA pass outs have been given lucrative packages in ICICI Bank, NIIT, CITI Financial, ICICI Pru Life, India Bulls, Tata Tele, Coke etc.
The spokesman added that the candidates got more than three offers each at an annual package ranging between Rs 2.50 lakhs to Rs 3.80 lakhs. Almost 70 percent candidates are getting Rs. 3.50 lakh package on an average.
Meanwhile, on extra curricular front, the University is organizing a 3-day Spring fest from April 20 in the campus. The youth of various Universities and colleges of the region are likely to participate in the festival, first such mega event after the inception of the university, the spokesperson added.
