| IMPCC meeting discusses holding of PIC at Reasi | | |
Jammu, April 17
The Next Public Information Campaign regarding people friendly and other developmental programmes of the UPA Government would be lunched in the newly created District of Reasi from April 23, 2007. This was stated in the Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee Meeting held in Radio Kashmir Jammu today.
The meeting chaired by Director Radio Kashmir , Jammu and Doordarshan Jammu, Smt. T. Angmo, was attended by Sh. Bashir Arif, Director Commercial Broadcasting Service, Radio Kashmir Srinagar, Sh. S. D. Bajad, Deputy Director Programmes, DDK, Srinagar and the representatives of Press Information Bureau, Directorate of Field Publicity, PRO(Defence), State Information Department and representatives of other Media units.
The Meeting also decided to focus on various aspects of Drug Abuse and launch a publicity campaign on discouraging cultivation and consumption of various drugs including Charas and Opium. Stress was laid on close cooperation between different Government Media Units in the State and highlighting of the activities of each unit.
