| PDP condemns Kakapora killings, demands probe | | |

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned the killing of two civilians allegedly in an unprovoked shootout by the police at Kakapora, Pulwama yesterday. The party has demanded for an impartial probe in this gruesome event.
In a statement issued by the party spokesperson, the party has demanded a thorough probe into the circumstances that led to the loss of the precious lives. Party demanded the police personnel involved in these killings must be immediately brought to justice to restore the public faith.
The spokesman has also condemned the attack on the IRCON engineers near Sangam yesterday in which one policeman was killed. He said such incidents are the most unfortunate acts of violence as the engineers were performing their duties and had nothing to do with any politics.
