| Five houses gutted in fire | | | Srinagar | Apr 17
At least five residential houses were gutted in two separate fire incidents across the Kashmir valley. Police sources said that a major fire broke out at Batapora Kanihama following a an electric short circuit in which four residential houses of Ghulam Qadir Ganai, Ghulam Mohammad Ganai Mohammad Ramzan Ganai and Abdul Rehman Ganai.
Meanwhile, fire broke in Aloochi-Bagh area due to electric short circuit which soon engulfed the house of Mohammad Ayub Khan, son of Yar Mohammad. The House was completed gutted in the fire.
