Early Times Report JAMMU, May 17: Bharatiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with creative vision, Doordarshan organization and Unison Cultural Troupe celebrated World Hypertension Day at Govt. Quarters Baba Surgal Dev Temple premises Janipur Colony Jammu, to draw attention of the masses living with Hypertension disease including malaria and their treatment. The programme was inaugurated by Jai Krishan Raina, Renowned producer of Doordarshan as chief, Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health department VK Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India and Gian Chand, Former Under Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Government, Pran Nath Bangroo, Secretary and Hari Razdan General Secretary of Govt. Quarters Association were guest of honour. Earlier welcoming the audience M.L Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan said, Hypertension day is celebrated every year on 17th of May to raise the public awareness about the hypertension. |
