Udhampur, May 17: Farmers in Udhampur district have incurred huge losses due to incessant rainfall which have damaged standing wheat crops.
Farmers namely Mohd Irfan, Sarpanch Basht Sajad Husan, Prkash Chand and Shar Singh Tahsil Chenani and Krishan Singh, Pancheri Aria have expressed their dismay over climate hostilities resulting into heavy damage to standing bumper wheat crop putting farming community in huge financial losses. The disappointed farming community highlighting its demands demanded government and concerned district authorities should take notice of it and should compensate the aggrieved farmers. |
