| Beopar Mandal castigates Comm Secy PHE's visit to Doda | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 17: Showing their resentment and anger over the visit of Commissioner Secretary PHE J&K Dr. Pawan Kotwal to Doda, President Beopar Mandal Doda Karamullah Nehru today criticized the District Administration Doda for not intimating general public for meeting with Commissioner Secretary PHE J&K who visited Doda few days back.
While talking to media persons, Karamtullah Nehru said that people of Doda in general and different civil societies group including Beopar Mandal Doda have great resentment over the secret visit of Kotwal where general public have not been invited to meet with him so that they can put forth their problems and issues related to shortage and non availability of drinking water. Nehru further added that there is a great scarcity of drinking water in Doda town and specially in the summer season. "people are facing great hardships and apart from it, many other public problem related to PHE Department are growing up day by day, but such kind of secret visits by higher officials like Kotwal are putting a great question mark on government policies with related to public delivery system while dealing with important public issues" said Nehru. Training guns at administration, Nehru said that not inviting public during high profile visit to Doda is not new thing for District Administration Doda. Meanwhile Nehru also congratulated the people of Jammu and Kashmir particularly of Kashmir Valley for casting their vote to the best candidates who clearly uprooted the NC party ffrom Kashmir.
He said people of Jammu and Kashmir have now lost their faith in NC due to which they faced such huge defeat in the LS elections 2014, adding that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah must resign from the post of Chief Ministership on moral grounds. |
