| Committee describes arrest of forest employee as conspiracy | | | Jammu April 18 Jammu and Kashmir State Samaj Sudhar Committee (JKSSSC) has condemned the imprisonment of Javed Ahmed Malik of Anantnag and described it a conspiracy to tarnish his image. Addressing a press conference MY Wani president JKSSSC alleged that Malik under a well hatched conspiracy was detained for one year and then was sent to Kathua Jail despite there are a number of jails in the Srinagar. Adding to it he said, “DFO of the concerned forest division of Anantnag in connivance with S P Task Force got the Malik transferred from valley to Kathua. Replying to a question, Wani said that DFO Anantnag under a plan got some sleepers hidden in the premises of Javed Ahmed Malik and then a complaint was filed about the theft of the sleepers. Thereafter Wani also highlighted the problems being faced by the people of the Kandi areas of Sunjwan, Purmandal Jammu in the acute shortage of water and electricity. He also urged the state government to release the installments of the COLA to the employees of the J&K industries Department. Among those present in this press conference included Raj Sharma general secretary Mahila Wing, Mohan Choudary chairman Jammu wing JKSSSC, Shamsher Singh secretary Jammu wing and Nayam Gupta district secretary.
