| Goni accuses coalition of its failure | | |
DODA, APR 18 Accusing the coalition government of its failure on various fronts, the National Conference leader Mohammed Aslam Goni has asked Ghulam Nabi Azad to step down from the post of Chief Minister. Addressing a public rally at Athkar, the NC leader alleged that CM has failed in his war against corruption; restore work culture and punctuality in offices, as also in introducing the much talked about double shift system for speedy completion of the development projects. He said that Azad is the first Chief Minister of the State to direct the bureaucrats not to honour the legislators and added that he has failed in his commitments because he has been influenced by the whims and fancies of bureaucrats. Goni said that the PDP leaders were trying to befool general public by raising hollow slogans and making baseless promises and observed that due to the infighting in the coalition partners the people were suffering badly. Earlier, the party organized a road show in Bhaderwah town. Those who spoke on the occasion included Ashraf Goni , Shabir Ahmed Ganai , Mohammed Sharief Batt , Irshad Ahmed Sheikh ,Qayoom Bagwan , Ali Mohd Shaksaz , Dr. Wakli Mohd Khan and Mohd Asraf Sartangli.
