| Amarnath Yara: April 21 high level meeting to decide fate of langar organizations | | | Jammu,April 19 Making yet another bid to resolve the dispute over the total amount of refundable registration fees to be charged by the Shri Amarnath Shrine board authorities in lieu of permission granted to the Langar organizations eager to set community kitches enroute hilly yatra trek a high level meeting of the CEO Shrine board and five member delegation of the Shri Amarnath Yatra welfare society is scheduled to take place on April 21 here in Jammu. Official sources told Kashmir Independent Press here on Thursday , a five member group headed by President of the Shri Amath Yatra welfare society Rejinder Sharma are expected to deliberate on variety of issues and problems faced by organizers of the Langars in the meeting to resolve the issue. It may be mention that Shrine board authorities had earlier decided to charge a refundable fee of Rs 10,000 on the langars. The charges will be refunded if langar people clean the space adequately where they had installed the langar.The issue has already cbecome a bone of contention between the langar organizations and the shrine board authorities. Last year, a total of 124 langars were installed. This year so far, 70 applications have been received by the Board for setting up langars. Of them, 58 langars have been granted permission. Issue of sales tax charged on goods used for langar at Lakhnpur check post, penalty etc are also expected to be resolved during the meeting
