| AUUP launches Jammu Campus | | | Jammu April-19 AUUP in association with MMC, Australia, launched its Jammu campus, the 7th in India, here today, under the name and style of Swastik Institute of International Studies (SIIS), which was inaugurated by Prof Amitabh Matoo Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu. Representative of Australian High Commission in India Manish Malhotra, Head AUPP MCC Australia, G. Bajwa, Head Indian Operations, AUPP Director Indian Operations, MCC Geelong Campus and Arun Bhutani, former President Association of Australia Education Representative in India (AAERI) CEO AB Education Avenues Private Ltd were also present on the occasion. The SIIS campus in Jammu will be admitting students for information technology and information system courses and those students having passed 10+2 in any stream with good results will be eligible for admission. The first year course will be held in Jammu campus and after qualifying the students would be sent to Australia for further two years course where they will be provided part time job to meet their expenses, while studying. The visa for their visit will be arranged by the Institution itself. The students admitted in the campus would be provided laptop computers for practice at their homes and the courses would be run in two shifts of five hours each. Pawan Kumar Shastri, Chairman and Managing Director of SIIS, on this occasion, explained the aims and objectives of the Institute. He said the Institute provides the best education to the Indian students in information technology to enable them to get lucrative and gainful jobs across the world.
