| Karra urges youth to set up industrial ventures | | | Jammu, April 20 Minister for Finance Mr. Tariq Hamid Karra has stressed upon educated youth to set up industrial ventures and harness the available concessions and incentives government provides in this regard. He was addressing public meetings at Kishtwar, Figsoo and Thathri areas on Wednesday and Thursday. He said bold steps have been take by government during last 4 years to mitigate the sufferings of people adding that the first 3 years of the government led by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed laid strong edifice for restoration of peace and normalcy and carrying forward development policy to achieve the goal of prosperity. Mr. Karra said that many steps were taken to improve the Indo-Pak relations and cultivate peace in the state. Addressing the meetings Member Parliament Ms Mehbooba Mufti said that healing touch policy put in place during the tenure of former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed yielded tremendous results on ground. She said that the dialogue process with separatist groups was then initiated alongwith interaction meetings between India and Pakistan. She said people to people contacts were restored by opening up of routes across LoC.
